Det er ein oppfølgjar til London Symphony Orchestra, Vol. 1 frå 1983, og vart spelt inn samtidig som denne, i januar 1983. Dei to albuma vart seinare slått saman og gjeven ut på CD på Rykodisc som London Symphony Orchestra Vol. 1 & 2 (1995).
